With restrictions being lifted after lockdown I am happy to confirm that TrigPoint Adventures is now in a position to start offering courses and guiding again.
I am pleased to announce that I have met the requirements of the “We’re Good To Go” industry standard mark. A self-assessment scheme that has been designed by VisitEngland in partnership with the national tourist organisations Tourism Northern Ireland, VisitScotland and Visit Wales to provide a ‘ring of confidence’ for all sectors of the tourism industry, as well as reassurance to visitors that businesses have clear processes in place and are following industry and Government COVID-19 guidance on cleanliness and social distancing.
In addition I am committed to Airbnb’s COVID-19-related safety and cleaning guidelines – including adhering to social distancing guidelines, practising good hygiene, and ensuring that all participants wear a mask. I will also be adhering to the current best practices as stipulated by the British Mountaineering Council and Mountain Training.
We will start off slowly so that we can get used to the new normal and the new safety systems in place. To begin bookings will have the following in place until guidance is relaxed further:
- Limited to a single household
- 2m social distancing will be maintained at all times
- No car sharing
- Facemasks to be provided for AirBnB Experiences
- Antibacterial Hand wash to be carried and used as required
- Sterile maps and compass provided to each individual at the beginning of each course
