This hike will take us to a less visited but in my opinion one of the most beautiful areas of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
We will climb the highest mountain in the Black Mountains, once we have climbed to the top we will remain on high level paths which will give us exceptional vistas of the National Park.
Our return back to the car park will take us past one of the many reservoirs in the area and descend via Y Grib with an optional visit to Dinas Castle if time and energy allow!
The route is approximately 23km (14 miles) with a total ascent of 1,000m (3,280ft) and therefore a good level of fitness will be required.
Your guide is a fully qualified Mountain Leader and a Brecon Beacons Ambassador, he will show you to the less visited areas and will tell you information on on the area that only a Mountain Leader and Ambassador can provide!
Dragons Back car park, Pengenffordd, Talgarth, Brecon LD3 0EP, please note that the postcode may not be 100% accurate due to the rural location.
