We highly recommend booking Dorians hike through the Brecon Beacons, we throughly enjoyed our excursion. The Brecon Beacons are a beautiful location, every trail is different, running along streams, waterfalls, tracks and some caves (you do not go caving, you just see them!) Dorian has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the area, he knows the trees types, the flowers, the moss, he even knows the right amount of rainfall to create the perfect waterfall, and there are some historical facts thrown in too. We walked 21K in total, with a mixture of flat walks and hills but all is fine, the pace is steady so even on a walk back up from the waterfalls the pace is your own, Dorian will always wait. There are areas of the Brecon Beacons you wouldn’t see as a tourist, you would never find them, but they are beautiful and you must see them and I strongly believe you will only see them on Dorians walk, he knows the Brecon Beacons like they’re his own back garden. If we ever return to wales, we will absolutely be booking up another of Dorians tours.
It’s your day and Dorian makes it that way from the start- I had a bad start and he adjusted our plans to take account of that whilst still showing me lots that I wanted to see Dorian also gave me a different walk to do later in the week – great day despite the weather!!
